Brothers Todd and Brigham Shearon of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, recently embarked on the trip of a lifetime. The duo traveled to 30 major league baseball stadiums in 28 days to raise money and awareness for anxiety disorders. The trip began on August 7th in Toronto and ended on Labour Day at Yankee Stadium, and places them in the Guinness Book of World Records for the fastest trip to visit all major league stadiums.
All proceeds raised during the trip and afterwards (through auctions of sports memorabilia) will be donated to the Mood and Anxiety Treatment Program at the Windsor Regional Hospital Mental Health Centre, where 29 year-old Brigham received treatment for Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD). Near the end of the trip the brothers were able to meet Zach Greinke, the Kansas City Royals pitcher who missed a season due to SAD, and had been the original inspiration for Brigham to complete the trip.
